
Electric steam humidifier
The advanced solution
heaterSteam is an electric humidifier that generates sterile water vapour from any type of water. It is a humidifying device, complementary to humidifying systems with electrodes which can operate on demineralised, softened or mains water with a hardness of up to 40 French degrees. heaterSteam humidifiers can be used for all applications, in duct humidifying or room humidifying, in air-conditioning or for humidity control in industrial processes. Capacity from 2kg/h to 90 kg/h and operation with demineralised water make heaterSteam humidifiers an ideal solution for the following applications: theatres, clean rooms and air-conditioning chambers where perfect steam quality and maintenance-free operation are required.
Stainless steel cylinders
heaterSteam humidifiers have been fitted with stainless steel cylinders.
Cylinders can be opened from the top by means of a fast-blocking flange XXX and they have a removable filter at the bottom. Additionally, internal plastic lining is available. It acts as scale collector and can be easily removed to get rid of the deposits collected or can be replaced during maintenance. Use of demineralised water practically eliminates the need for cleaning.
Removable filter
The bottom part of the steel cylinder houses a removable water filter. It facilitates regular cleaning of the cylinder, eliminates scaling at the bottom of the cylinder and prevents clogging during water filling and discharge.
Opened cylinders
New humidifiers can be fitted with recyclable cylinders made of fire resistant plastic (HB- fire resistance class as per standard UL94) or with cylinders that can be opened and cleaned which are made of fire resistant plastic (V0 fire resistance class – as per standard UL94).
Opened cylinders feature covers of the quick-connection-type with a rubber gasket that ensure perfect sealing between two cylinder parts.
Patented system of heater scaling detection
The detector is sensitive enough to measure the amount of heater scaling and warn the operator in case of excessive scaling.
If this is the case, the device is deactivated and the message informing the user of a need to clean the cylinder appears on the display.
Water warming system during the standstill of the humidifier
This unique system makes it possible to generate steam immediately without a need to wait until water is heated up.
Special shape of heating elements
Heaters have been designed following cutting-edge technology; they are located in aluminium plates to reduce power density, which ensures best operating safety.
AS an option, there are also available heaters with special Teflon coating which reduces adhesion and scaling even further.
Patented foam elimination system
The system uses a special program which is input into the device’s operating algorithm. The program detects foam and by appropriate operating cycles eliminates it.
Steam distributor with a fan
The family of humiSteam humidifiers has been designed with steam distributors with fans with an optional support in case of assembly at a distance. A special system enables the fan to work independently of the humidifier, thus making use of its inertia and avoiding vapour condensation. The interior of the distributor is made of stainless steel, whereas on the outside there has been mounted a deflector that directs the air stream vertically. Centrifugal fan can be supplied with two voltages (230/400V AC) and is available together with an rpm controller, which makes it possible to adjust air flow when needed.
Steam lances
SDP-type steam lances have been made of stainless steel AISI304. They are supplied together with a fixing grip for humidifying in ducts, as two concentric pipes for more coherent steam distribution and to avoid condensation.
More efficient aluminium lances have been designed so as to assure light weight and broad spectrum of application. They can be cut as required to fit the duct size.
Short steam distributors of the ‘nozzle’ type are made of plastic and can be installed in small ducts or air-conditioning units.
Controllers and sensors
The following controllers are available:
Version with ON/OFF control and two versions with modulated control for connecting humidity or temperature sensors with a voltage or current output control signal or for connecting external controllers.
Equipment with modulation control feature a RS485 connection for connecting supervision and monitoring system or for connecting a humivisor controller with a graphic display.
Centralised remote control system
Humivisor remote control system makes it possible to create a local network of humidifiers (up to 4 units) within the range of up to 1km.
Humivisor ensures easy and centralised control of all humidifiers, graphic displaying of control parameters and presetting future operation of equipment.
HeaterSteam: cutting-edge solution
heaterSteam humidifiers feature cutting-edge technology. Heaters are placed in aluminium plates, which means a lower power density and, what follows, equipment safety. Optional Teflon heater coating reduces scaling and, as a result, their maintenance. A patented system for the detection of scaling on heaters, in combination with other protection systems make the humidifier very reliable and safe. Opened cylinder made of alloy steel with a removable filter at its bottom, together with internal lining that collects scale facilitates maintenance of the device. The humidifier is available with a complete selection of controllers: the user may choose the cost-efficient control of the ON/OFF type or precise proportional control by means of a sophisticated humivisor controller with a graphic display that makes it possible to remotely control several humidifiers from a distance of up to 1km.
